Hello

My name is Aizat Rahim. I’m a Malaysian entrepreneur and operator focused on building digital infrastructure that enables businesses and ecosystems to scale. I have lived and worked across Australia, the United States, and Malaysia, and today serve as Managing Director and co-founder of Borong (formerly Dropee), an enterprise-grade B2B procurement and marketplace platform backed by Y-Combinator and global investors. Borong partners with corporations, government agencies, and SMEs across Southeast Asia to digitise procurement, supply chains, and embedded financing with a long-term ambition toward public market readiness.

Beyond Borong, I am involved in venture building and capital deployment across the region. I work/invested in Growth Charger, The Hive SEA & Vynn Capital, supporting startups, institutions, and ecosystem partners, and I actively invest as an angel and LP across technology ventures. I also contribute to national-level ecosystem initiatives and advisory roles that focus on digital transformation, SME enablement, and technology adoption in Malaysia.

Earlier in my career, I co-founded Infinite Ventures, which was later acquired by Kern Technology. I began my professional journey in corporate finance with ANZ Innovyz, which shaped my perspective on capital, governance, and scaling companies sustainably.

I graduated from the University of South Australia and later completed executive studies at Stanford University. Today, alongside building companies and investing in founders, I spend time supporting the broader technology ecosystem and mentoring emerging entrepreneurs.

Outside of work, I enjoy experimenting with artificial intelligence and automation, constantly exploring how emerging tools can reshape productivity, decision-making, and the way organisations operate.
